Tim Burton/Costuming dream

I'm at an event, I'm not sure what it's for though, but I learn that TIm Burton is there. It's one of my dreams to work on one of his films, so I hem and haw over whether I should give him my business cards. Finally I decide that I've got nothing to lose and I go and sit at his table. I tell him that I admire his work and that I've always wanted to work on one of his films, and I hand him one of my cards. He takes it, looks at it, looks at me and says "I don't know what to say". I ask if that's a good thing or a bad thing. he tells me this "You come up to me, out of nowhere and hand me your card. Who are you, are you a designer, are you a stitcher? Are you even union? What is this?!" I reply by telling him that I'm not in the union but that I've been trying to get in, and that I don't feel I'm advanced enough to be a designer, but that I'd be honoured to even be stitching on one of his movies. He basically tosses my card back at me and tells me to get lost.

Then I got really drunk! Yay!

Now I've got an additional reason to be mad at Tim Burton:

Reason the first: leaving Lisa Marie for Stupid, stinky Helena Bonham Carter (I want to sit on her and BRUSH HER EFFING HAIR!).

Reason the second: being a complete shit to dream-Canadian-me.

I think this dream basically means, that, like most people, you worry about not being "good enough" or just about being rejected.

But you're awesome! So no worries. :)

yeah, I was pretty confused when he left Lisa Marie, but he is a weasly looking man, so I think he looks better with Helena.

It was a very random time to have a dream about my competance... maybe it was a delayed reaction :)
